Fort Valley, Georgia - Funeral services for Mr. Bennie Postell, Sr. will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Friendship Baptist Church in Fort Valley, Georgia. &Burial will follow in Willow Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Postell passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, GA.

Mr. Bennie Postell, Sr., the sone of Robert and Essie B. Warren Postell, was born July 22, 1942 in Marshallville, Macon County, Georgia. He was educated in the Macon County School System. He joined the Friendship Baptist Church family at an early age. He later joined in holy matrimony to Bobbie Jean McCrary to which they had six children.

Mr. Postell was employed with Woolfork Chemical Company as a Machinist for many years until his health begin to fail. He was an excellent provider for his family.

Survivors include his children: Lonnie Postell, Sr. (Mattie); Hazel Williams; Christopher Postell, Sr. (Nikki Webb); Benjamin Postell (Rosylon) all of Fort Valley, GA;Pastor Bennie Postell (Gloria) of Centerville, GA; Barbara Taylor (Dewayne) of Macon,GA; one sister--Lille Mae Howard (Floyd); one brother, Jamie Woods, Alabama; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Postell, Miami, FL; and Eloise Woods, Atlanta, GA; 32 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, niecies, nephews, and a host of other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
