Clarence Buford Miller was born on January 13, 1928 to the parents of Ulysses and Estelle Thorpe Miller. He joined Usher's Temple C.M.E. Church at an early age and resided in Fort Valley, Georgia all of his life. He was well known for being kind-hearted and benevolent.

Clarence, affectionately known as "Teenie," met and married the love of his life, Thomasena Perry in 1953. God blessed their union with two daughters, Sandra Violet and Gail Ruth.

He was educated in the Peach County public school system; and, went on to serve our country in the United States Army, as well as,& United States Army Reserve. "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his works shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." (Revelation 22:12-14) His legacy will live on because his works reflected compassion and true love for his fellow man. The Lord called him home to rest peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2015.
