&Ms. Dorothy Price was born January 3, 1922 in Houston County (Peach County), to the late Susie and Harmond Zanders. She attended the Public Schools of Peach

County.Dorothy had seven children to precede her in death: Fannie Mae, Bobby, Harry, Martin, Richard Lee, Hattie Mae and Louise. Dorothy was a devoted and loyal employee to the

Barns Family for many years.Dorothy confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age; she joined the First Baptist Church of Byron, Georgia.

Dorothy was truly loved by everyone she came in contact with. Anytime you visited her she made you feel right at home. Her home was an open invitation to love. We are truly

going to miss the laughter, the smile, the conversationsand everything about Dorothy.

On Thursday, February 23, 2017 her heavenly Father called her from labor to reward.

Her survivors include: six devoted children: Jacqueline Woodson of Miami, Florida, Gloria Price, Sammy Price, Gary Price of Byron, Georgia, Jerry Price of Warner Robins, Georgia and Susie Spear (Edward) of Mableton, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Martha Price of Virginia; Jeanette Williams a beloved friend just like a daughter of Macon, Georgia; a devoted nephew Jerome Price; a host of devoted grandchildren, great-grands and great-great grands; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
