Dr. Earnest Corker entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.& Funeral services for Dr. Corker will be held on Saturday. January 18. 2020 at 11:00 am in the sanctuary of Trinity Baptist Church in Fort Valley, Georgia. Burial will follow in Willowlake Memorial Gardens.

Dr. Corker and his family settled in Fort Valley in 1964. He became a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church; serving several years as a Trustee.

Dr. Corker taught for several years at Fort Valley State College, serving as Professor of Biology, and eventually founding the Animal Health Technician program. Dr. Corker entered private veterinary practice in 1970; first providing services in Fort Valley and later Warner Robins. Dr. Corker continued to practice until his retirement in the fall of 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings: Ralph Corker, Joe Corker, Jr, Hayward Corker, and Curt Corker.

He leaves to mourn:

His wife, Annie Grace Corker, one son, Gregory Corker, one daughter, Cynthia Denise Corker, one Grandson, Corker Washington Corker, one brother, John Shoats, a host of family and friends.
