Warner Robins, GA - Funeral services for Mr. Ellis "Robert" Allen, Sr. will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the sanctuary of the Springhill Baptist Church in Marshallville, Georgia with the Pastor Victor Johnson Officiating. &Burial will follow in Colonel Felton Cemetery in Marshallville.

Mr. Ellis Allen, Sr. known as Robert was born October 31, 1950 in Macon County, Marshallville, Georgia to the late Mr. John and Mrs. Mattie Skinner Allen.

Robert was educated in the public schools of Macon County.

He began his work career at the Southern Frozen Foods, Inc., Montezuma, Georgia for two years; Blue Bird Body Company, Fort Valley, Georgia for eight years and the city of Marshallville for two years at this point his health began to fail.

Robert will be remembered by his children as a father with lots of advice and love to give.

On Friday, December 4, 2015 our father answered the Master's Call and entered into eternal rest.

He is survived by his children: Ellis Allen, Jr. (Megan) - Montezuma, GA, Malcolm Allen - Henry County, Tomeka Newman (Anthony) - Fort Valley, GA and Ricardo Allen (Keeley) - Warner Robins, GA; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; five sisters: Mildred Ross (James), Fannie Pearl Robinson, Mattie Bell Walker, Lucille Brown (Clifford) and Sherry Brown (Terry) all of Marshallville, GA; two brothers, Curtis Allen and Willie James Allen both of Marshallville, GA; three aunts, Ella Solomon – Akron, OH, Louise Jackson – Montezuma, GA and Jody Bell Skinner – Marshallville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews other relative and friends.
