Mrs. Essie B. Riggons was born October 27, 1928 in Macon County to the late Beaulah Walters and Fred Frendorl of Montezuma/Perry Georgia. She attended Brown Chapel Elementary School. She later joined Brown Chapel Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia where she was a member of the Choir, it's also where she met and married Emory Riggons and their love flourished until he was called home to glory. The life and jovial spirit of Essie will be forever remembered and cherished by her family. Essie worked on Mrs. Eva Mae's Farm; she also worked for Mrs. Gayle and later worked for Mr. Billy and Mr. James at the Law Firm until she retired. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, M.C. "Peter" Casey; a sister Annie B. Haslem and a brother-in-law R.T. Taylor.

On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 while a patient at the Houston Medical Center, Warner Robins, Georgia, our beloved Essie, transitioned into eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish her memories her brother L.C. Casey (Marian); her Sister Fannie L. Taylor; a host of nieces and nephews; host of other relatives and friends.
