Mrs. Gail Miller Smith Davis was born on November 23, 1963 to the parents of Mrs. Thomasena Miller and the late Mr. Clarence&B. Miller.

She joined Ushers Temple CME Church at an early age and resided in Fort Valley, Georgia most of her early life. After leaving Fort Valley she joined Bethel AMEChurch in Lithonia, Georgia.

She was married to the late Marvin Smith and to this union one daughter was born, Sydne M. Smith.

She later married Rodney Davis and to this union a daughter Andrea Davis and a son Demetrious Davis became her children.

She was educated in the Peach County Public School System. She received a B.A. Degree, Masters Degree, Specialist Degree and did some work on a PHD.

Gail taught in the Atlanta Public Schools. Her last employment was at the Fort Valley State University, in Fort Valley, Georgia.

She loved reading and writing. She tutored students in writing.

Gail was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

She is survived by her husband Rodney Davis, daughters: Sydne, Andrea and a son Demetrious; a mother: Mrs. Thomasena Miller, mother-in-law, Juanita Jackson. a sister, Sandra Carter (David); niece, Kamilah Carter, nephew: David Carter Jr., three aunts, four uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Devoted cousins: Kenneth Miller, William "Billy" Miller and Phyllis Luciano.
