J. Denise McCrary of Fort Valley, GA, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 505 State College Drive, Fort Valley, GA. Public viewing&and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will hold the Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony Friday, February 3, 2017 at 6 pm.

Ms. McCrary was the daughter of the late Valeria B. and James C. McCrary, Jr. She was the Executive Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Valley. Survivors include her sister, J. Candace McCrary; her aunts, Anna M. McCrary, Luetta H. McCrary, Hazel Adams, Dorothy B. (Joseph) Johnson, Ernestine (Joseph) Hughley, Rosa (Edward) Northcutt, Shirley Barden; uncles, Clyde (Gladys) Barden and Nelson (Lula) Barden; godchildren Tremayne (Chelsea) Crawford, Wesley Willis and Miracle Rumph and many cousins, friends and co-workers.
