Jennie Lynn "Grandma" McGough, 60, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Seville, Florida. She was born on May 4, 1964, in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Jennie Lynn was a graduate of Beechwood High School in Marshallville, Georgia, where she excelled academically and graduated with honors. She pursued further studies at Georgia Southwestern in Statesboro, Georgia. Her career as a licensed insurance agent allowed her to help many people navigate important financial decisions with care and dedication.

Jennie Lynn was known for her selflessness and unwavering devotion to her family. She always put others before herself and found immense joy in caring for those she loved. Her daughter, Brandi Respress, was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She is survived by her parents, Danny and Judy Raulerson; her daughter, Brandi (Jeff) Respress; her beloved grandchildren, Jhi (Jasmine) Respress, Andre Respress, Aaliyah Holiday, and Alexis Holiday; and her great-grandchild, Jalilah Respress. She also leaves behind her sisters Julie (Bobby) McCook, Renee (Randy) Cromwell, and Kimi (Bill) Underhill; nephews Halston (Nikki) Quick and Ryan (Krista) Quick; and great-nephews Hayden (Grace) Quick, Kingston Quick, and Oakland Quick.

Jennie Lynn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Wilmer and Ruth Peavy; paternal grandparents Paul and Elsie Turner; and Tom Woodard.  Father Edward C. Woodard

A funeral service will be held on February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at C.J. Edwards Funeral Home, located at 409 Preston Street in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Jennie Lynn's kindness and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
