A Time to Love

She met and later married the love of her life, Albert Ragin. Jessie's pride and joy was to be the mother of five adorable children: Bobby, David, Willie, Lisa and Martinous.

Jessie loved God, her family, friends, and extended family at Virginia Gardens Assisted Living Facility of Fort Valley. She was a fun-loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and a doting grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

A Time to Serve

Jessie joined Mount Zion C.M.E. Church of Roberta, Georgia at an early age where she served faithfully until her health began to decline. One of her favorite pastors was Reverend Sidney Kendrick who became a close friend of the family. When Jessie could no longer attend Mount Zion, she joined Saint Peter A.M.E. Church and attended Central Union Baptist Church regularly.
