The Life Story of Queen Juanita "Neat" Ellison
Juanita Ellison was born the 1st day of September in 1934 to the late Frank and Magnolia Jackson in Macon County, Marshallville, Georgia.& Juanita "Neat" Ellison was one of 8 children born to this union. She was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Helen Louise Jackson, Frank Jackson, Jr., Lena Mae Walker and J.D. Barner; one step son, Roy Lee Parker and a niece she raised as a daughter, Latasha Jackson.
She was educated in the public school system of Macon County. She confessed Christ early in life and joined the Mount Calvary Baptist Church where she attended regular until her health began to fail. "Neat" was employed with the Oak Nursing Home for many dedicated years as a Nurse Assistant.
Juanita was united in holy matrimony to Lonnie Ellison, Sr. to this union they were blessed with 5 children; 15 step-children and one adopted son.
"Neat" as she was so affectionately called by her family and friends will always be remembered as a sweet and jovial person with a loving and caring heart not only for her children but for children period. Her beautiful smile will never fade from the heart of those she came in contact with.
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal: on Sunday, February 28, 2016 God granted healing to our Beloved, she earned her wings and quietly departed this earthly life as she journeyed with our Heavenly Father. "The battle has been fought, the victory has been won and now she is finally free.
Left to remembered her with love and affection are: 11 daughters: Leanna White Guzman (Charlie) and Ella Rowland of Tampa, FL, Carolyn Ellison of Perry, GA, Judy Scott (Michael) of Fort Myers, FL, Lee Ethel Kingsberry (William) of Augusta, GA, Debra Ann Barnes, Lucille Harris, Mary Spence, (Cornelius), Nicole Ellison and Victoria Ellison all of Warner Robins, GA and Wanda Ellison of Atlanta, GA; 8 sons: John Lee Brown, Lonnie Ellison, Jr. (Etherine), Garrett Jackson all of Marshallville, GA, Paul Robinson (Laterrica) of Tallahassee, FL, Arma Mack Harris (Carla), Lorenzo Harris (Jennifer) all of Warner Robins, GA, Chad Everett Ellison (Sherry) of Conyers, GA and Elton Harris (Maxine) of Montezuma, GA;1 adopted son, Sammie Paster (Mary Ann) of Fort Valley, GA; 59 grandchildren; 124 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-great-grandchildren; her loving siblings Annie Johnson of Fort Valley, GA, Annie Collins (Cottrell) of Charleston, South Carolina, Harvey Lee Jackson, Norma Jean McKenzie (Tony) and Robert Lee Bonner (Mary) all of Marshallville, GA; 2 devoted sisters-in-law, Mary Jackson and Rose Bud Jackson both of Marshallville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
