Mrs. Lizzie Bell Ridley, commonly known as Lizm, second child of the late JC Snipes and Susie Mae Jones Snipes; was born on April 20, 1931 in Peach County, Georgia.

She was educated in the&Peach County School System.

Mrs. Ridley joined Fairview CME Church at an early age. She served on the Usher Board; she was a faithful member until her health failed.

Liz was employed by the Magnolia Plaza Motel in Byron, Georgia for 25 years and 16 years at the Holiday Inn in Perry, Georgia.

On March 15, 1947, Lizzie was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Willie Ridley and no children were born to this union.

Lizzie loved to cook and she was well loved by her family and devoted friends and to those who knew her.

On the third Sunday morning; September 17, 2017, God looked around His garden and saw a rose that was in full bloom, He plucked it and held it close to His heart as our beloved Liz entered for eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish her memories one devoted sister, Lelia Mae Cliett; one step brother, Charlie Lee Daniels; three sisters-in-law, Bessie Lee Ages, Jimmie Mae Taylor both of Fort Valley, Georgia and Clara Hill of Warner Robins, Georgia; two devoted nieces, Shelia Snipes of Macon, Georgia and Elizabeth (Bobby) Clark of Fort Valley, Georgia; a devoted nephew, Casey (Felicia) Felton of Fort Valley, Georgia; three devoted great nieces, India Snipes, Jazzmine Felton and Ieshia Towns all of Fort Valley, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
