Fort Valley, Georgia - Mr. Micheal Mose Smith of 604 North Miller Street&passed away at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Mt. Olive CME Church in Fort Valley, Georgia with the Rev. Nathaniel Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodwill Cemetery in Fort Valley.

Mr. Micheal Mose Smith was born July 10, 1955 in Peach County, Fort Valley, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mose and Inez Smith. He was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Germany.

He attended the schools of Peach Coounty. He was employed for several years at the former local coca-cola company. He later moved to Mamaroneck, New York, where he worked for more than 15 years at Selectro Corporation and also as a supervisor at Bello Laundry Service. He relocated to Georgia in 2008 and became a faithful member of the House of Prayer COGIC, Warner Robins, GA.

On Friday, November 6, 2015 at 6:34 pm, the Lord called Brother Smith from labor to reward. He leaves to mourn his passing, five sisters, Willia Mae Ford, Lillian S. Adams, Eloise Bennett, all of Fort Valley, GA; Mary S. Brown of Perry, GA, Evelyn S. Swift (Eddie) of Detroit, Michigan; two brothers, Raymond Bernard Smith of Fort Valley, GA, Superintendant Robert L. Smith (Barbara) of Bonaire,GA; a devoted friend, Slallette Hurley of New Rochelle, New York, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
