IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mildred Schofield
Harris
September 8, 1931 – August 1, 2020
I left my home to go to my Father's House. Please don't cry.& For you will never be alone. I've lived my life the very best I could.
My work and my help has been very well understood. I love you all because you have been so dear. I may not be there with you, yet I'm very near.
If you look to the place where I use to sit and I'm gone. I'm not in a place suffering in pain, but I've found my Eternal Home.
On Saturday, August 1, 2020, surrounded by her family our beloved entered into Eternal rest. Mildred Schofield Harris, daughter of Mr. Abe and Mrs. Mary Lou Robinson Schofield was born September 8, 1931, in Crawford County Georgia. She was educated in the Public Schools of Crawford County.
For many years she worked as a Cook at Pool's Cafe located in Fort Valley, Georgia. With a desire to traveled North in 1967, Mildred journeyed to Ohio. In 1980 she returned to Georgia. Mildred enjoyed life with her family and friends. She was a woman of "Wisdom"; if you wanted to hear the truth on any given conservation, Mildred was definitely the person you wanted to confide in. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Abe and Mary Lou Schofield; four sisters: one brother, Sammie Schofield; Nezzie Laney, Claudia Newman, Annie Lee Schofield, and Odessa Schofield.
Precious memories will forever be shared by her one and only devoted daughter, Juanita Harris; a niece who is more like a sister, Willie Mae Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
