IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mother Trellis
Rumph
August 18, 1928 – July 12, 2024
Mrs. Trellis Taylor Rumph daughter of the late Mr. T. Taylor and the late Mrs. Nonnie Woolfork Taylor Sneed was born on August 18, 1928 in Houston County, Georgia. She was educated in the Houston County School System.
At an early age, Trellis accepted Christ and joined St. Paul Baptist Church and there she maintained her membership until later she joined Friendship Baptist Church where she served faithful on the Ushers Board. She truly loved the Lord and thanked Him for His grace of longevity and the love of a family.
Trellis begun her work journey with the Massey Family, next at Peach County Board of Education and after years of dedication she retired from the Helen Rhea Luce Family.
Being a lady of class and beauty; Trellis enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking delicious meals for her family; the love for her family was definitely exemplified in her good housekeeping. Being the eldest of her siblings gave her the authority to be known as the "Boss" to them. She also loved her fur babies Cricket and Muffin.
She was preceded in death addition to her parents; a son, Willie B.
Troutman; brothers: R.T. Taylor, John Solomon, Charlie Sneed; a sister, Betty Rumph Grant and a daughter-in-law, Peggy Troutman.
On Friday, July 12, 2024 God sent His angels to bring home our beloved for eternal rest.
She leaves a legacy to her three very devoted children: one son, Charles Rumph (Shelly), Fort Valley, GA; two daughters, Georgia Frances Greer, Marshallville, GA and Lizzie Anderson (Daniel), Warner Robins, GA; one brother Willie Sneed, Overland Park, Kansas; eight grandchildren: Melvin Rumph, Rhonda Tabor (Marcus), Kesha Simpson (Ronald), Carlos Anderson (Vilisia) Tiffany Anderson, Temekka Anderson, Kimberly Simmons (Anthony), and Darius Knolton; thirteen great-grandchildren: Ronald Simpson, Ir, Mikayla Faulk, Nakya Harris, Briana Patrick, Chance Simpson, Isaac Patrick, Cameron Simmons, London Simmons, Wynnessia Tabor, Khadija Tabor, Kinsley Furguson, Darrian Knolton, and Zion Knolton; four great-great grandchildren: Nyomi Kemp, Zamoree Simpson, Amir Simpson, and Rylen Jefferson; two sisters-in-law, Fannie Taylor and Minnie Sneed; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including Dorothy McKenzie and Mildred Porter, and friends.
