Otis Reginald Caldwell, Jr. age 34 of Fort Valley, GA. was born January 7, 1984 in Loring AFB, Maine.& He was called home to the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Otis was a single, free spirited man who enjoyed his adult life to the fullest. He worked several different jobs thought his adult life, most in the customer service industry. Moreover, and most important to him, he believed his success was not measured in dollars or positions; but the many smiles he put on people's faces throughout his day. Also, in his free time he enjoyed playing basketball, video games and table cards,to name a few. His spirits will forever be remembered.
Growing up as a military dependent lived in several places, such as Loring AFB, Maine; Fort Worth, Texas, Sembach AFB Germany and in Prince George County, Maryland. While in Maryland; he graduated from Crossland Senior High School, and attended Ohio Tech University in Cleveland, Ohio, studying mechanical engineering.
Otis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Jenkins, Sr., aunt Theresa Wright and uncle Ira Island.
He is survived by his parents: Otis Caldwell, Sr. and Albertina Caldwell of Perry, GA; his older sister Brandi Caldwell of Prince George County, Maryland, and younger brother Teddy Caldwell of Washington, D.C.; one nephew Darren Weaver of Prince George County, Maryland; grandparents: Geneva Jenkins of Tampa, FL., Otis B. and Ruth Caldwell of Sharpsburg, GA.; two unclels: Johnny Lowe of Niagara Falls, NY, Albert Jenkins, Jr. of Tampa, FL.; aunts: Patricia Wilbon of Tampa, FL., Thelma Island of Dublin, GA., Kathy Caldwell of Atlanta, GA. and Dalphine (Roger) Jefferson of Riverdale, GA.; several great-uncles and great-aunts; a host of other relatives and friends.
