Alpharetta, Georgia- Mr. Richard Jackson of 2804 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta, Ga, formerlyof Marshallville, GA, passed away on November 4, 2015. &Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 am in the sanctuary of the Springhill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. His memories will be cherished. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Richard Jackson, Wolf, as he was affectiontely known was born on January 22, 1966 to the late Oliver Johnson and Gertrude Jackson, in Montezuma, Georgia. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County. Upon graduating from Macon County High School in 1984, he joined the Unoted States Marine Corps.

He graduated from ITT Tech and worked for several companies before he joined the Mactac, where he worked for ten years before being called home.

On April 11, 2015, Richard wed Charity Shamba and on May 31st, the two term welcomed their baby girl, Amarah, whom he called Poopie. He loved playing cards and his peach coobler to.

On Novembe 4, 2015, following a brief illness, the Lord called him home at North Fulton Regional Hospital.

Richard was preceded in death by a sister (Betty Walton) and a brother (James Jackson). He leaves to cherich his memories his wife Charity Jackson and baby girl Amarah (Poopie), two step-daughters Nyasha & Chloe Baretto of Alpharetta, GA; Mother Gertrude Jackson of Marshallville, GA; One son, Richard & daughter Alexis Jackson, three grandchildren, Morgan, Camren, and Caitlen, all of Montezuma, Georgia; Mother-in-law Hilder Shamba of Harare, Zimbabwe; nine brothers, Buster Jackson (wife Catherine), Bill Jackson, Charles Walton, Louis Jackson, Lonnie Jackson (wife Sissy) of Warner Robins, WillieJackson (wife Alma) of Alpharetta, GA, John Walton (wife Rhonda) of Conyers, GA Oliver Johnson ( wife Ernestine) ofNorth Carolina, Leroy Johnson of New York.
