IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott Allen
Groshong
June 17, 1968 – July 23, 2022
In loving memory of Scott Allen Groshong, who passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2022 in Roberta, Georgia his home since 2008 at the age of 54. He was born and raised in Flint, Michigan by his Mother Phyllis Stone(Beebe) and father Stanley Groshong. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 37 years Kelly Eitel-Groshong and together raised their daughter Julie Groshong-Ogletree and son Jeremiah Groshong who are twins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was one of the kindest souls on this planet, a gentle giant, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage. He was a self-made man that could fix just about anything especially your major appliances and your home. He was a family man. His favorite thing to do was play with his 3 young Grand children Abigal Groshong, Lily Groshong, and Grayson Sneed. He was that fun grandpa that let the kids get away with just about anything to have a good time. He loved his music and singing songs on the top of his lungs even though he was tone deaf and only knew half of the lyrics most of the time. He will be greated in heaven by many loved ones including his father, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Sisters, nephews, many friends, and pets. He will be missed here on Earth by his Wife Kelly Eitel-Groshong, daughter Julie Ogletree, Son Jeremiah Groshong, mother Phyllis Stone, sister Tracy Stone, brother Gary Groshong, sister Stephanie Groshong, sister Cindi Hargis, brother Donny Stone, and many many nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a memorial service held in Flint, Michigan the date and time is unknown and will be announced at a later time. If you would like to donate there is a fundraiser site set up to help pay for arrangements and to help care for his grieving wife in these tough times. at https://gofund.me/c7feac2f
