Obituary

SSG Tervonio Raheem Coleman: a brave and loyal soldier as well as a patient and loving son to Dr. Teresia (Robert) Dennis and Antonio (Shameria) Coleman was born January 12, 1993 in Montezuma, Macon County Georgia. Tervonio was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Marshallville, Georgia.


He was educated in the Peach County Public School System. During his tenure "Tee" as he was affectionately called held the position as the Chief Commander Officer with the NJROTC. He was a 2012 Honor Graduate at Peach County High School. With a desire to serve and lead, Mr. Tervonio R. Coleman enlisted the United States Army; he began his tour of duty in South Korea upon completion of Basic Training at Fort Benning. He traveled the hierarchy of ranks earning numerous of accolades and medals; lastly, even though short lived; well-deserved he was promoted to Staff Sergeant.


Tervonio was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frances Kate Felton, Sammie Lee Hannor, William Coleman, great-grandparents: Hamp Felton, Nellie Mae Felton, S. T. Hannor, and Annie Lee Hannor .


On Thursday, July 4, 2019; Tervonio quickly and quietly slipped away on arrival at Navicent Health Hospital, Byron, Georgia. He was gone before we knew it and only God knows why. It broke our hearts to lose him from this mortal walk of life: we entrust him in God's safe keeping until we meet again.


His quiet and easy-going spirit will forever linger in the hearts of his surviving family: a loving, and supportive mother Dr. Teresia Felton (Robert) Dennis of Fort Valley, GA; his father Antonio Rodriquez (Shameria) Coleman, Montezuma, GA; brothers, Robert Dennis, Jr. and Joshua Dennis both of Fort Valley, GA, Antonio Coleman, III, Deerfield Beach, Florida; Shafavion Powell, Montezuma, GA and Tellis Fort, Cordele, GA; grandmother Willie Dell Coleman, Lilly, GA, step-grandmother, Annie Ruth Hannor, Stockbridge, GA; two aunts, Flecia Felton, Montezuma, GA and Paula Coleman, Lilly, GA; one uncle, Darren Coleman, Sr., Lilly, GA; great aunts: Rosalin (Patrick) Johnson, Warner Robins, GA, Romona (Travis) Cephus, Fairburn, GA, Pattie Mae Felton, Orlando, FL Almetta Clayton, Dooling, GA, and Inez Glenn, Vienna, GA; great uncles: Myron Felton, Jacksonville, FL, Antron Felton, Macon, GA, Arthur James Felton, Lake City, FL, Jerome ( Fannie) Hannor;Lonnie Claytonand Marcus Clayton both of Byromville, GA, Freeman Clayton, Vienna, GA, Abramham Clayton and John Clayton both of Lilly, GA; great-great aunts: Gladys (Willie) Joiner, Montezuma, GA, Angela (Robert) Price, Atlanta, GA,; great-great uncles MacArthur Green and Willie James Hannor, both of Atlanta, GA, special aunt: Louise Bibbs, St. Roberts, MO; devoted friend: Nicole Mincey, Bonaire, GA, Peach County High School Friends: Keiah Williams, Byron, GA, Alishiah Kassam, Warner Robins, GA, Juan Rodriguez, Fort Valley, GA, a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
