Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Willowlake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Shawn Drains, Pastor of St. Peter AME Church will be officiating.

Stephanie Ann Thomas Bailey was born November 26 1954 at the Peach County Hospital in Fort Valley Georgia. Her parents are Willie "Bill" and Mable Cleveland Thomas (Rayford).

Affectionately known as "Stephie", graduated from Hunt High School in 1973. She attended Crandall College in Macon Georgia. Stephanie worked as a school safety officer for Peach County Schools and a nursing assistant. She is the widow of Arthur Bailey who she married on July 2, 1978.

The life of Stephanie will forever be remembered by her family and friends; she was a loving person with a beautiful smile, which she shared with everyone she came in contact with and a heart of gold.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie "Bill" Thomas, and her step-father, Mark Rayford.

Stephanie passed this life on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Atrium Navicent Medical Center in Macon Georgia.

She is survived by her mother Mable T. Rayford and her only child, Wendy T. Washington.Stephanie has eleven grandchildren: Denisha Jackson, James Jackson Jr., Destiny Rumph, Aaliyah Rumph, Coldy Thomas, Shanecia Washington, Marcus Washington Jr., Markita Washington, Damarrion Washington, Jacori Washington, and Nova Washington.Her five great-grandchildren are Sakyria and Cedric Mclemore Jr., Jakeia McKenzie Jr., Paris Robinson, (Tygel Towns Jr. deceased), and Ashanti Worthy; a host of other relatives and friends.
