Fort Valley, Georgia - It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Susie Pearl Felder Johnson.& Mrs. Johnson passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020 while at her residence surrounded by herfamily and friends. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the family has elected to comply with Governor Brian KempEmergency Guideline Mandates the CDC, and DPH;thereby electing to have a graveside service in an effort to attempt to minimize the exposure of the general public to COVID-19. However, the family will plan, organize, and announce a sufficient memorial service to be held in the sanctuary of the Shiloh Baptist Church to honor the memory of Mrs. Johnson at a later time.

Visitation will be conducted at the CJ Edwards Funeral Home Chapel beginning on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 beginning at 12 noon until 5 pm. We are asking for everyone to practice social distancing and for no more than 5 or 10 people to assemble or congregate at a single given time. Everyone is asked to assemble in order to view in staggered time increments. The funeral home will provide a hand washing station and hand sanitizer for the public.
