Americus, Georgia - Funeral services for The Rev. Elijah Smith, Sr., Retired Presiding Elder of the Southwest Georgia Annual Conference will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Sanctuary of St. Peter AME Church of Fort Valley, Georgia.& Burial will follow in Willowlake Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fort Valley.
Presiding Elder Smith peacefully made histransition on Monday, October 2, 2017,while at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 6, 2017at Allen Chapel AME Church in Americus, Georgia at 7:00 PM.
